Mr & Mrs Comber wed at the beautiful Shearsby Bath in Leicestershire

Dani & Mike had an absolutely beautiful civil ceremony and wedding reception at Shearsby Bath on Sunday 27^th March 2016. Here's their story!

Mike and I lead very busy lives with our motor repair business and our 2 year old son to keep us occupied so when organising our wedding we decided we needed an extra pair of hands. The beauty of Kate’s services is that we could customise them, taking as little or as much as we wished!

As a close friend, we asked Kate to support us with some of the wedding tasks such as:

• Helping with our invites, table plan and making decorations - even a toilet basket for the ladies room!
• Hiring some of Kate’s decorations
• Collecting items from our house and dropping them off at the venue

We decided to opt for Kate’s On the Day Coordination package as felt this would take away some of the pressure and allow us to enjoy our wedding without all those extra worries.  Kate was brilliant! Some of the things she helped with were:

• Positioning the many decorations we’d accumulated
• Hanging the pretty vintage bunting, lanterns and pom poms
• Liaising with the venue co-ordinators at Shearsby Bath about certain requirements we’d asked for
• Making bespoke toilet essential baskets which went down a treat!
• Making confetti pockets for our guests and handing them out to our guests in a very cute wicker basket
• Setting the tables with name cards and cross checked each setting against the seating plan
• Locking away any important family items and wedding gifts before the evening guests arrived
• Ensuring the wooden hearts, we were using as our guest book, were being signed by all guests

On the day, knowing Kate was on the case meant I had no worries about leaving the venue to get ready with my girls and meant I could have a nice relaxing morning.  When we saw the marque set up, it gave me goosebumps – we will never forget that moment…

We are truly thankful for Kate’s help and advice :o) We never saw her stressed, she had everything in hand and kept very much to time.
